Resources to heal after ending a relationship
Here’s the list passed on by a lovely stranger I sat opposite to in Soho House, once upon a time, that had also just ended a relationship. I never saw her again, so I have concluded she must have been an angel sent to share with me a list of resources to move through one of the most difficult periods of my life.
So here I am, passing them on. I added a couple of my favourites too.
May these books, podcasts and poems help you in your healing journey.
Know you’re not alone, and one day you’ll look back to this moment grateful things unfolded the way they did because they allowed you to grow, transform and know yourself more than ever before.

Get a journal to decompress and express (with no censorship or filters) your pain, frustration, angry letters, weird doodles. Rather than reaching out to them, write anything you need to express there.
Reach out to a therapist/coach and/or at least one (the more the better) friend or family member to call at 12am when you just feel like crying while having someone on the other side of the line telling you everything will be ok.
Cos I promise everything will be ok. Even if it feels like it won’t... just trust me on this one.
Treat yourself with more love, tenderness and compassion than you ever have before. Trust time and the healing process, you’re so loved and supported. Xx
