Are you betraying yourself?

After a day full of powerful client sessions, I emerged with the urgent need to remind myself and everyone around me of how brief our time in this world is (#sorrynotsorry to be morbid, but you know… it’s true 😂)

We spend sooooo much time putting our joy, value, intuition on hold... betraying our truth and inner wisdom to “fit in”, please others or simply to follow what we’ve been told we “should” be doing... hoping that the day will be right one day to actually start living fully on our own terms.

You might already suspect this but the “perfect” time is now. Stop waiting. You’re not here to play it safe, or follow the status quo. You’re here to live a spectacular life, a full life: one in which you are available to be touched by it.

If you’ve been waiting for permission to go for it, take this as your sign.

You’re reading this for a reason. 🔮

And no, I don’t mean quit your job right now, dump your partner and move to another country… I mean, first of all, becoming brutally honest with yourself and being brave enough to see where/when you’ve abandoned yourself. Do you put on a “persona”/mask when you interact with people? Do you choose to stay quiet in order not to “cause problems”? Do you go against what you know is right? Are you making your decisions based in fear?

In one of my sessions this poem came to my mind, so i wanted to share with you:

“When it's over, I want to say: all my life
I was a bride married to amazement.
I was the bridegroom, taking the world into my arms.

When it's over, I don't want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.

I don't want to find myself sighing and frightened,
or full of argument.

I don't want to end up simply having visited this world.”
