Confidence

One of the hottest topics when working with my coaching clients is…

*drumroll*

CONFIDENCE.

Asking for a raise. Finding a partner. Starting their own business. Ending a relationship. Etc.

The word “confidence” comes from Latin “with trust” (can’t help myself, you know I’m a history geek & lover 🤓) and I’d love to ask you:

Do you trust yourself?

Not to be perfect and always get it right (that wouldn't be realistic, considering we’re humans after all 🤷🏻‍♀️), but rather to know you have the willingness and resources to meet any situation/life to the best of your abilities.

Confidence is deeply linked to the relationship we have with ourselves, its rooted in how much we believe we’re able to meet the moment, and that we’ve got our own back -  no matter what.

In the wise words of Henry Ford "whether *you* think you can or you can't, you're right".

So yeah, this is a big deal.

Instead of waiting for praise and acknowledgement from others to start believing in yourself - I invite you to explore confidence as an inside-out quality rather than something that comes from the outside world.

I also wanted to mention that each person will embody confidence in a unique way: for some confidence might look like speaking up more in meetings, for others perhaps it’s about having the confidence to say less in gatherings - how you express confidence, moment to moment, will be completely bespoke to YOU.

I TALK MORE ABOUT CONFIDENCE HERE.
