My first time working with a coach

I remember when I first signed up to work with a coach. ⁣

I was struggling with old flare ups of anxiety and insomnia. I was heartbroken from a relationship that ended unexpectedly. I had spent most of my life worrying about everything. I wasn’t so good at having fun and enjoying life tbh 😂. ⁣

I talked to her about all those big and difficult moments I had moved through “alone”: my mum being given three months to live (thankfully she’s still around), moving to new countries on my own several times, a family member attempting suicide, etc… ⁣

And I told her I knew that this time I could also do it all on my own, but I didn’t want to. ⁣

I could *choose* to be supported. ⁣

To have someone there to speak to and be held by. ⁣

To feel guided, loved, comforted. ⁣

To make the journey and the healing lighter. ⁣

This felt like one of the biggest acts of self-love I’ve ever done for myself. It felt revolutionary.⁣

Yes, it was one of the biggest investments I’d done in my life (my mind was freaking out) but I knew I was done with suffering. I was done with struggling silently on my own. I was done with waiting for something to miraculously change and make my life better.⁣

Slowly I started noticing how feeling supported rippled in all areas of my life: my relationship with myself and others improved, my career started picking up, life seemed to flow a bit easier. ⁣

I now have weekly sessions with a coach AND a healer 😂. Having that ongoing connection through this crazy couple of years has been absolutely fundamental for my mental, emotional and physical health.⁣

Plus every time I’m about to renew with my coach (and wondering how I’m going to get the ££ to make it happen) magically a new client pays me upfront. The universe always blows my mind 🤯🙏🏼

So, my loved one, if you feel like you’re navigating some rough waters at the moment and you’re craving some extra support please know you don’t have to figure it out on your own.⁣

Reach out to loved ones, friends, and if it resonates to a coach/therapist/counsellor.⁣

And if you want to chat I’m always here.

I currently have 1 spot for my 1:1 journey and it would be an honour to support you ♥️ x
